Would you buy a commission from someone who copied your favourite artist's style/techniques/everything if they sold it at a cheaper price? (Answer honestly lol)

Yeah, I mean why not? Gotta save money somehow! -- Besides, it's basically the same thing, right?
Sure, if I couldn't afford art from my favourite artist I might. However, I'd be unsure of supporting someone who copies someone else just to sell art. -- I might buy from them otherwise.
Nah, I don't believe that's an okay thing to do. It would feel wrong and would seem like I was being cheated.

I... honestly do not pay enough attention to figure out who started doing what first. I do associate certain 'looks' to the artists I pay closer attention to but... I'm not about to start keeping tabs on 'oh hey so-and-so totally started drawing exactly like [name]', I don't see much point. It's possible that's true but..? I don't follow everyone out there, I don't know every artist under the sun and people are all influenced by someone else. The imitator might keep drawing that way, they might not. I suppose, I don't really care one way or the other. Not to say I don't care about the commission aspect. I rarely buy art, when I do it's usually only from close friends when they need money support, that's about it.
