Last update:
I filed a dispute with PayPal earlier today since PayPal was the only place I had proof I'd made the purchase since nothing was showing on dA for some reason.Within a half hour my money was refunded to my PayPal and the case was closed on PayPal.
I also got this on the ticket -- i.gyazo.com/ef444746e20aeadc08…
One would assume this was likely because I had indeed sent a ticket via PayPal showing I had used it lol Otherwise I can't help but wonder if things would have still been faffed about. With this refund being legit it was fast and easy.
Either wya, my money was returned now and I will NOT be buying anymore dA points ever again. This kind of ruined it for me sadly... That and it doesn't do much good for me anyway. I only did it this time to help someone out and buy an adopt.
That being said, my best advice is if you're dealing with the same thing just file a dispute on PayPal. You could call PayPal's customer service if you can find the number but PayPal has a bit more bollocks in this case and dA won't dispute against them if proof is shown a purchase made but no items were given in return.
Still, be careful...

UPDATE: OKAY so what a load of shit!
I went to check my help ticket status and saw it had indeed been viewed and was marked solved!
And this is the reply I got --
OH HOW FUNNY Diego, because I didn't use my bank card make that purchase -- I used PayPal balance.
I gave a link as well as a file uploaded showing the PayPal receipt AND activity log showing that I'd used PayPal to buy the points, so I'm not sure if this guy didn't read or just didn't bother looking at anything I wrote/sent. I NEVER use my bank to purchase anything on dA; PayPal only!
What a friggin joke!
Funny thing is my money has NOT been refunded to my PayPal. It was taken from there:
If it was a 'failed transaction' then it would have been refunded directly back into my PayPal. It has not been returned and supposedly this ticket was replied to last Wednesday. I got no notice of this and again -- my money has NOT been put back into my PayPal.
So what a load of shit. dA just stole $10 from me. If they don't get it back to me in 2 days I'm filing a complaint on PayPal.
This is bogus.
If you had this problem and you haven't seen any notification about a reply to your ticket, go directly to your ticket via the help & FAQ link at the bottom of the page. They don't send out notifications about replying to tickets anymore. You may have been replied to.
The reply I got is bullshit though -- I didn't use my bank card to buy their damn points. I used my PayPal.
Fudging hell... LOL
I know $10 isn't a lot in the grand scheme of things but come on now... This is just downright wrong. Get your shit together dA.
PS: I sent in a refund ticket on PayPal. $10 may not be a lot of money but it's the principle. I'm not paying dA for nothing... Sorry. Not to mention, if this is how their staff replies to issues like this; like it's some kind of joke or a fable, I'm not interested in putting my own hard earned money into their site to promote their Monopoly money.
Lastly, just to see I did send proof -- i.gyazo.com/4c017749aa4b499a90… that was my initial ticket to them. I'm signed into my gyazo account so those links would work as they're stored images on there. Not to mention I sent files to prove the transaction was authentic as well.

And still no showing up on my order history that I even bought them. They took my money, so where's my 800?
I ordered them a while ago =/ I'm not even seeing the order on my order history list on here -- they took my money though! Took it in a heartbeat!
Looks like I'll have to email them since my ticket isn't even answered. Ugh... DeviantART, get your crap together.
An automated system shouldn't choke out on a weekend, more so when you have no qualms with taking the money right away (the transaction isn't even pending on my PayPal, the money is gone already. Meaning they took it but haven't granted me the points I paid for).
Buyer beware: dA's system is messed up. Don't ever buy on a weekend.
Yes, I have tried logging in and out like 16 times in the last week or so and nothing; no points in the balance.
Ugh.
PS: Since I can't find it -- Does anyone have the dA's customer service email? I already submitted a help ticket last week and it's not been replied to at all and I know they can take ages to reply (months even at times) so I'd prefer to email them. I've done it before but I can't remember the email address.

I forget
I keep forgetting to post things here. Twitter is where I'm a bit more active -- https://twitter.com/SterlingKato ^^;
Mitsy passed away.
Mitsy passed away at 6pm today. It was a breach egg again, but it was stuck in such a way there was no getting it out and it was too late. She was in pain. We let her go and surgically removed the eggs. We're hoping to keep one of her babies. My heart is broken. (For those wondering, yes, she was put to sleep. She was in pain.) Needless to say, the last 2 days have been hectic and spent working with her and the vet. My heart hurts and it will be a day to recover. However, work will resume tomorrow if possible. Thank you, - Kato
EMERGENCY!: Egg-bound chameleon!
There's a bit of an emergency -- Mitsy (my female veiled chameleon) has somehow become egg-bound (meaning, she's not able to lay her eggs ). We're sure it's a stuck egg in her as we can see her straining and she’s suddenly shown signs of pain and egg-binding. Needless to say we’re rushing her into the vet once the vehicle returns. That said, since this was a sudden cost and I’ve been unable to rebuild the vet savings due to having to take in one of our cats for another issue (she’s okay, but needed an update on meds). The total cost would be $250 give or take. I can cover half with what I have in savings so far, but the rest is left floating. I’m hoping it will be a simple fix (such as removing the blockage or possibly a shot of oxytocin to get the contractions strong enough to push the blockage out) but I’m not sure. I don’t want to ask for donations but this is a big emergency. Mitsy was doing just fine; digging and doing all she’s meant to to lay her eggs, but this morning
