Well I know this comment is old as dirt, but since there's no replies, I'll give a tip.

On one of Whiluna's tutorials, it said that watching animal documentaries and stuff helped give a good idea of anatomy and how animals move. It's true, but I've found that it works better if you focus on the animals rather than the boring narrator.
(Idk if you can find a lot of wolf documentaries, but I've been able to find quite a few good ones documenting lions.)
